New glasses for blue light, Have you heard of them? Come, visit for a while. We will not walk today because the temperature outside is about 23 degrees with occasional wind gusts. We will stay inside where it is more comfortable.
As I was saying, there are now glasses that may be purchased over the internet that block the blue lights coming off our computers and phones. My eyes had been bothering me for a while, especially with a feeling of extreme fatigue. After having lunch with my daughter-in-law a few weeks back and hearing her explain that her new glasses were actually for blue light, I decided to try them. In fact, I decided to order two pairs, one for the den use and one for the bedroom while on the computer or watching T.V. To date I can only say that I still do not like to wear glasses and hate the feeling of something perched upon my nose!
Anyway, one pair is more attractive in colors of blue and purple, but the other arrived, not as red framed as I thought I had ordered, but in colors of red, white and blue with stars and stripes! They were so funny that I decided to keep them and make sure I only wore them away from any observers.
Soon after, my brother and his wife were visiting for a couple of days. Early the next morning, I happened to run into my brother in the hallway between our two bedrooms. I had those funky glasses on and before I could remove them he had made a picture with his phone! Unfortunately that afternoon it was on FaceBook for all our friends and family to see! As if that were not bad enough, I was still in my bathrobe, uncombed hair and no make-up for the day! We all had a good laugh and I accepted my moment for having been caught in the almost "raw". You have to keep an eye on those playful brothers at any age! Looking forward to wearing those glasses on any patriotic day, especially July 4th!
To date my experience with the new blue light blocking glasses has allowed me to recruit several people. You can even send in your prescription and get the kind you need. So far I cannot tell much difference. I still have some headaches, and my eyes continue to be red and look tired.
Oh well, I tried......guess it all comes down to that specific reason.... At my age...……………………………….
